SSA1099 statement

 No,  BOX 5 is your NET Benefit for 2019 and the only income number that you need.

 

Non-taxable payments includes a Lump Sum Death Payment, and amounts refunded to the beneficiary for excess Medicare premiums, or attorney fees;
