Ssa-1099 for an adult disabled child - do we claim the benefit?

No, you don't claim the Social Security benefits that your adult disabled child received on your tax return.  The SSA-1099 should be reported on your child's return, if they are required to file a tax return.  If their only income is from Social Security, your child isn't required to file a tax return.

For additional information, refer to the TurboTax Help articles Is Social Security Disability Income Taxable? and  Where do I enter an SSA-1099?
