A Roth IRA is much more valuable in retirement than a Traditional IRA.

The objective is really to grow each account tax free for as long as you can.

The Roth meets that objective better than the Inherited IRA because the Roth can generally grow tax free for 10 years beyond your (or yours spouse's) passing.

The inherited IRA has RMD requirements in most situations, so you HAVE TO take the money out.  Further, if you inherited this IRA after 2019, you MUST liquidate it within 10 years of inheriting it - so the period of time the money can grow tax free can be much shorter than the ROTH.

Much better to take the money from the inherited IRA than the Roth in my view. THe benefits of the Roth are too valuable to give up.  If you HAVE to take the money out anyway when you don't from the Roth, fund the education from the Inherited IRA
