Should I look for another way to put my ss income ( I am 67) into the joint filing. It did not ask for the information and was ready to complete it.

Last year they made me pay taxes on my SS income. There was no place to put it in the joint filing with turbo tax. What do I do..its 9:45 CDT. I can't be late.

To go to the section of the tax return to enter this information, use these steps:

• On the top row of the TurboTax online screen, click on Search (or for CD/downloaded TurboTax locate the search box in the upper right corner)
• This opens a box where you can type in “social security income” (be sure to enter exactly as shown here) and click the magnifying glass (or for CD/downloaded TurboTax, click Find)
• The search results will give you an option to “Jump to social security income”
• Click on the blue “Jump to social security income” link and enter your information
