Secure 2.0 Act: SIMPLE vs Roth IRA contributions issue

I participate in my employer's Simple IRA retirement plan and also contribute to my own Roth IRA.  The Secure 2.0 Act seems to have created an issue with the allowable contributions.  Per the Edward Jones website, for 2023, "the amount a SEP or SIMPLE participant can contribute to a Roth IRA in a given tax year is reduced by the amount of SEP and SIMPLE contributions made in that tax year...."  Accordingly, the Secure 2.0 Act appears to create offsetting contributions--that is, whatever I contribute to my SIMPLE IRA reduces what I can contribute to my Roth IRA--either/or but not both.  Edward Jones says this change was "likely unintended" but is nonetheless effective for 2023 unless the Secure 2.0 Act is clarified or amended.  Does anyone have further information on this or know if the IRS is looking at this?   TurboTax software will have to deal with this for 2023 returns.
