Received form SSA-1099 social security benefit statement of $4925.00 for 2018 which is returned to SS office. Do I need to report this?

Received form SSA-1099 social security benefit statement of $4925.00 for 2018 which is returned to SS office. Do I need to report this?

Yes, you will need to enter this, then as you walk through the questions there is a repayment question.  Enter the amount back as a repayment.

Yes, you will need to enter this, then as you walk through the questions there is a repayment question.  Enter the amount back as a repayment.
