We are getting $15.00 towards retirement savings contribution credit even though I am selecting NO. It is making me use the deluxe version to finish filing.

How do I get rid of this credit? It's not doing anything for me.

To cause the Retirement Savings Contributions Credit to be removed, in the Retirement Savings Contributions Credit section indicate that you were a full-time student. Then you will not be eligible for the credit.

The IRS will not see this - this is just a way to do a workaround in TurboTax.
