Not sure exactly what your question is.
You should be able to use regular turbotax. However, if you have to pay TT you need to pay with a credit card with a US address. https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/payments/help/can-i-pay-my-turbotax-fees-with-a-foreign-credit-or-...
One alternative is to buy the desktop PC/Mac software from Amazon.

US Citizens must file US taxes based on their world-wide income. Many other countries only tax residents.
US Citizens can exclude up to about $105,000 of earned (job/self-employed business) income a year by filing a special form. https://www.irs.gov/individuals/international-taxpayers/foreign-earned-income-exclusion
Additionally US taxpayers can claim a credit for foreign taxes paid on the same income taxed by the US. Because US tax rates are so low, that usually means you won't owe anything in US taxes. But you are required to file. Be sure to look carefully for the question about it. https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/entering-importing/help/where-do-i-enter-the-foreign-tax-credit-fo...
Finally you can check into the US-Japan tax treaty here: https://www.irs.gov/businesses/international-businesses/japan-tax-treaty-documents Tax treaties avoid double taxation usually by saying the resident country gets to tax and the other can't or must give a credit or limit that tax. Sometimes you need to understand that to check the right "exempt by treaty" box. But that is probably rare.
