QUALIFYING QBI IF RETIRED?

Being retired from your regular job does not disqualify your from claiming the QBI deduction for other qualified activities such as rental income and  part time self employment

QUALIFYING QBI IF RETIRED?

Rental income reported on a Schedule E could qualfiy for QBI, as well as if you receive a 1099-DIV statement that reports REIT dividends in Box 5.
