On my 1099-R form box 14 says exempt but you won't accept it . What should I put in the box

my 1099-r is exempt from state tax . Line 14 says EXEMPT but computer won't accept this in box .  what should i put in box14?

Just don't enter anything. The program will only take numbers. If you have any other entries in boxes 15 and 16, leave them blank too.
