Yes, it would be income that is required to be distributed (whether or not it was actually distributed) and any other amounts paid, credited, or required to be distributed.

Not quite an answer.  Suppose the Estate had $10K in assets that were distributed to beneficiaries in accordance with a will, is that $10K reported in the 1041 Schedule B Income Distribution Deduction section?

Yes, it would be reported assuming the estate were required to file a 1041 at all (a distribution of assets (corpus) is generally not a taxable event).

Unless the estate had gross income for the tax year of $600 or more or a beneficiary who is a nonresident alien, a 1041 is not required to be filed.
