My w-2 box 20 says "VDI P,P #" and box 19 doesn't have a $ amount, it has "#247-62314" - what does this mean? I cannot enter a "#" in turbo tax

If you don't have any amount in box 19, you can delete those lines in TurboTax. If you had an amount in Box 19, you would enter it in Box 14 instead on the TurboTax screen, click the drop down box and select NJVDI. But with no amount in Box 19 leave Box 14, 18, and 19 blank or you will have a filing diagnostic error.
