This is unearned income of your son.  If your son has more than $1,050 of unearned income, your son is required to file a tax return.

The 1099R belongs on your sons tax return (if he has enough income to require filing a tax return).  It does not belong on your tax return.

hes only 5 so he doesnt file we claim him. what amount of income would be considered enough to file?

This is unearned income of your son.  If your son has more than $1,050 of unearned income, your son is required to file a tax return.

And if he does need to file a return that does not prevent you from claiming him, but be sure the box on his return that someone else can claim him is checked.
