My employer puts contributions into my IRA from my paychecks. Does turbotax get this info from my w2 or do i need to enter it?

The information should be on the W-2. When you enter all the information in the boxes on the W-2 TurboTax will ask you the appropriate questions.Your retirement contributions will be in Box 12.  Your retirement contributions should not be included in Box 1 of your W-2.  Make sure this is the case, you will not be taxed on the contributions.
