My 1099-R reads box 7 as 2B. Turbo tax says this is invalid and will not allow me to file. Help! Is the 1099-R wrong or is Turbo Tax wrong?

TurboTax misleadingly asks if the distribution from a Roth IRA.  The code B unequivocally indicates that the distribution is from a designated Roth account in an employer plan, not from a Roth IRA, is the question only serves to trip you up.  Edit the Form 1099-R and answer No to this unnecessary question.
