My 1099-R box 14a is smaller than box 1, but Turbotax is insisting it's larger. How do I fix that?

My 1099-R has correct figures in boxes 1 and 14a.  Box 1 is a larger amount than box 14a, which is what it should be.  TurboTax wants 14a changed.  Why?

Be sure you didn't accidentally type a comma instead of a decimal (or vice versa) in either one of those boxes.
