When are you seeing the message, "We found something wrong with your info"?
After you enter the first 1099-R, you can Add another. Since both 1099-Rs are from the same payer, you need to make sure that they are being treated as different forms.
To indicate the second one as a different form, you can do any of these things to indicate that it is another different form:
- enter a date in Box 13
- enter an account number
- change the zip code in the payer's address to point to some other city.
- enter an amount in box 8
- enter an amount in box 17 or 19
