Is there a way to go back to change the answer for the 1099-R? i accidently put the wrong option which was roll over when it should have been first time receiving one.

Yes, please follow these steps:

1. Click on "Search" on the top right and type “1099-R”  
2. Click on “Jump to 1099-R” and click "Edit" next to the 1099-R

Please be aware, if the screen you are looking for doesn't come up then you might have to delete and reenter your Form 1099-R because depending on your previous answers some screens might not come up again.
