In the Iowa Dividend Income Worksheet, it gives me the error that "the payer has too many characters". But there is nothing in the box and I can't fix it

Get out of the review.   Go back to Federal - Wages & Income and edit your 1099-DIV form(s).   One of those forms has extra or some weird character in it.    Delete everything in the payers' field and re-enter, abbreviating if necessary.   About half the errors found during review can't be fixed on the review screen, so it is usually easier to just go back to the federal form to correct review errors.
