If the boxes for Federal Income Tax Withheld on the 1040-es are grayed out, how can I go back and edit the amounts in them?

I accidentally entered incorrect amounts for both my spouse and I.  I can't find a way to change the amounts.

You can change the amounts for Forms 1040-ES under Federal Taxes >> Other Tax Situations >> Other Tax Forms >> Form W-4 and Estimated Taxes. Click Start/Update to begin.

  1. Follow the screens until you're asked if you want to prepare estimated taxes for next year.
  2. Click on Prepare Now.
  3. On the next page, answer "Yes" to "Do you want to adjust your income or deductions?"
  4. Work through the screens to edit the information you already entered or enter new amounts.
  5. Follow the screens to adjust the calculations and eventually see the estimated tax payments that TurboTax calculates based on your answers.
