Several mutual funds in my IRA were sold throughout 2017. All the money was reinvested in the same IRA. Do I need to report the sales? Can I claim all of the money reinvested?

All earnings (interst, dividends, capital gains/losses) in your IRA are tax-deferred and you do not report them on your tax return.
The money reinvested within your IRA is not counted as new contributions and you cannot "claim" it.
