If im filing a 1099, can i also file a second 1099 as well as a w-2?

Yes, if you haven't filed the return then you can add more than one form. Just click on the "add" button.

For example:

1. Click on "Search" on the top right and type “1099-R”  
2. Click on “Jump to 1099-R” and and enter your first Form 1099-R
3. Click on "Add another 1099-R" to enter the 2nd Form 1099-R

1. Click on "Search" on the top right and type “W-2” 
2. Click on “Jump to W-2” and you should see the “Here's your W-2 info” screen
3. Click on "Add another W-2"
