If i havent got my 1099 yet can i still file my taxes or do ihave to wait

You can file if you have the information from it, such as the  issuer's name, address, EIN and the Box 7 amount. You want to match exactly to the form the IRS receives.

You could possibly call the issuer. They are required to submit them by January 31, but it may take a little longer to receive by mail.
