I answered it was a contribution but it was actually a distribution. Since the amount in box 11 was already included as income in box 1 and taxed, my answer shouldn't affect my return results, correct (I already filed them)?

Yes, you're correct, it should not affect your tax return.

You should not amend the return.

If the IRS does have a question.  They will contact you by maul. (They never call, text or Email you.)

However, I expect they will process the return.
