I withdrew excess contributions on my Roth IRA. Does contribution withdrawn before due date of your return refer to the principle amount or the actual amount withdrawn?

I made an excess contribution of $1195.10 to my Roth IRA in 2020 for the 2019 tax year. However, my bank corrected it to be contributed for the 2020 tax year. The value of my contribution decreased while it was in my Roth IRA. So the actual amount that was withdrawn was $1180.93. However, the principle withdrawn was $1195.10. Which value should be used?

You would enter the full amount $1,195.10, assuming there is no additional money in the IRA associated with the contribution.
