If you are a US Citizen or Resident Alien married to a non resident alien, you have two choices in filing status:

You can file as married filing separately.  Your spouse will not be considered a dependent in this case.

You can also elect to treat your spouse as a US resident for tax purposes.  This means you can file as married filing jointly, which has lower rates and better deductions. But in this case, you will need to include your spouse's income (WorldWide) less any deduction allowed for taxes he may have paid to other countries.

If your husband had an ITIN, use that.  If he did not have one, or it has expired, you will need to apply for another one.

The tax return will need to be printed and mailed.
