I took $18,750.00 from my 401K and took taxes out in the amount of $3750.00. I did a rollover of $300,000.00 and put in an IRA CD

If you rolled over the amount within 60 days then please follow these steps to enter the distribution and rollover:

  1. Click on "Search" on the top right and type “1099-R”
  2. Click on “Jump to 1099-R”
  3. Click "Continue" and enter the information from your 1099-R
  4. Answer questions until you get to “Tell us if you moved the money through a rollover or conversion” and choose "I rolled over some or all of it to an IRA or other retirement account within the time limits (normally 60 days)", click "Continue"
  5. Select "No, I rolled over less than $XXXX" and enter the amount rolled over.
