I received a $79.04 distribution from a Qualified Settlement Fund - I have no 1099 or EIN or SS number of the payer. Where and how do I enter this in Turbo tax?

The settlement fund manager cannot give me tax info. Do they notify the IRS, if they DO NOT issue me a 1099? Do I have to report it at all?

Without a 1099-R, you can report the Settlement Income as Other Miscellaneous Income.

Type in 'Settlement Income'  for a description.

At least this way you will have reported it, and the small amount should not impact your refund.

Click this link for instructions on How to Enter Miscellaneous Income.
