I receive and Ira 1099. I also receive a normal retirement 1099R from the Office of Management and budget. When I filled the IRA 1099 ,all went well but when I did my OMB 1099 the program kept wanting informatrion information concerning RMD information?

The program treats my 1099 R as if it were an IRA. It is a normal office of Budget retirement with no RMD etc. . I never had this problem in previous years

When you receive a pension in installments, all payments are considered as RMDs. You can safely answer in TurboTax that the amount reported is an RMD and that all your RMD requirements are satisfied.
