I paid $1630 retiree medical, and $204 retiree life. Should this be entered in this tax return someplace?

The medical expense is deductible on Schedule A of your return if you itemize your deductions rather than taking the Standard Deduction.  You would enter the medical deductions under Deductions & Credits / Medical Expenses. There is no deduction available for life insurance.
