I made a mistake and have no W-2 to report but I can't get the entry deleted. I also need to enter a 1099-LTC but can't find the correct place.

I made a mistake and have no W-2 to report but I can't get the entry deleted. I also need to enter a 1099-LTC but can't find the correct place.

If you have not already filed your return, the directions below will help you fix those two items.

DELETE W-2

ENTER 1099-LTC

Here's how to enter your Form 1099-LTC (long term care) expenses in TurboTax:

  1. In TurboTax, search for "1099-ltc, long-term care" (with the dashes and comma, either lower case or caps), and
select 'Jump to 1099-ltc, long term care.
  2. On the Any Long-Term Care Contracts? screen, check the buttons that apply, and click Continue.
  3. On the following screens, answer the interview questions.
