I have insurance through my job for my family. But it is a 1000$ deductible out of pocket per person and then it is 80% paid for after that. Can i deduct that somewhere?

If you itemize you can deduct medical expenses that were not reimbursed.  But you only get the benefit of deducting an amount greater than 7.5 percent of your AGI.
