I have a SSAform 1099 social security statement? I do not have a w2form.

I'm not sure what to do they keep asking for a w2 and I don't have one, I have a SSA1099

It's possible that you had a W-2 in the past and it has carried over to the current year.  I suggest you go back to the W-2 input area and see if there is one, and then delete it.

On sidebar 

1. Start out at Federal 
2. Wages & Income 
3. Select Wages and Salaries, or Revisit
4. Select add a W-2 for the appropriate person if married.
5. Post the tax ID number for the employer
6. If you want to import the W-2, enter the value from box 1 of the W-2
   1. Follow instructions for the import.
7. -- You will have to select To Type it Yourself---
8. Select [Change how I enter my form]
9. [Type it Myself]

1. If there is a W-2 it will appear on a bar
2. you can delete it by selecting the Trashcan on the right
3. Then confirm delete.
