I followed the directions to delete the Retirement Credit form 8880 and I’m still being told to upgrade. Any tips?

You can avoid getting the credit by stating that you are a full-time student in the Retirement Savings Contributions Credit section. This will make you ineligible for the credit. This will not affect your income tax in any other way.
