I entered my 1099-R pension info and it asks if this is an RMD withdrawal. Does this apply to a pension?

RMD does not apply to pensions. Just answer 'Yes' to the question.

Under the law, pension distributions *are* RMDs.  It's just that nobody thinks of them as RMDs since the distributions are paid automatically and regularly.  Indicate to TurboTax that the amount of the pension distributions is all RMD and is the entire RMD required of the pension.
