I am a military retiree when I file my state taxes in Maryland the deduction for over the age of 55 for military retirement for $15000. It does not show up.

First, when you enter the form 1099-R in the federal section of TurboTax, you need to indicate that it is a CSA-1099-R, Civil annuity as follows:

Then, you have to enter the Maryland portion of the distribution as follows:
