How should an elected official report a monthly stipend received monthly? I do not receive a salary. I have a 1099NEC.

Follow these steps:

Open TurboTax.
Go to Federal, the Wages & Income.
Scroll down to "Other Common Income."
Select Form-1099-NEC, select Start or Revisit
The next screen, "Do You Want to Enter Your 1099-NECs Now? I select, "Add a 1099-NEC."
The next screen, "Let's get the info from your 1099-NEC.
