Your question was unclear as to whether you wanted to delete the Traditional IRA contribution or the indication it is being converted to a Roth IRA.

To delete the Traditional IRA, you would:

  1. Select Search in the upper right hand corner of the window
  2. Enter Traditional IRA in the search box
  3. Select IRA contributions
  4. Select Jump to IRA contributions or Go to IRA contributions in the Blue box
  5. On the screen where you indicated who contributed to the IRA select Continue
  6. When you come to the screen where you entered the contribution amount erase the amount and select Continue
  7. Continue through the screens and answer the questions.
  8. When you come to the screen where you entered the amount to convert to a Roth IRA erase the information.

If you just want to delete the entries to convert the Traditional IRA to a Roth IRA, you should:

  1. Select Search in the upper right hand corner of the window
  2. Enter Traditional IRA in the search box
  3. Select IRA contributions
  4. Select Jump to IRA contributions or Go to IRA contributions in the Blue box
  5. On the screen where you indicated who contributed the IRA select Continue
  6. Continue on the screens until you see the amount of the IRA contribution amount - Erase the amounts and select Continue
  7. The next screen will tell you We'll Delete Recharacterized Amounts..Select Delete
  8. If you still wish to make an IRA Contribution select Back on the lower left of the next screen, then enter the IRA contribution amount and then select Continue
  9. Go through the remainder of the screens and answer the questions.
