Hi

I received a check from Us Treasury with the amount of 599$,that was exactly the amount that I owed IRS and that I paid a month ago,there was no explanation regarding the check,inside the envelope was only the check.I paid the amount that I owed through my bank account and it was accepted,no idea why this amount is coming back?

They may have tried to apply the payment to the wrong account, or maybe they adjusted your tax return. Contact the IRS for more information regarding the check you received.
