Did not take 2019 RMD. How do I file that info and pay the penalty in my 2019 TT return?

The RMD is only a few hundred dollars, so the tax and penalty are low. How do i file it?

if you missed an RMD, there is no income and no income tax.

File 2019 Form 5329 showing the missed amount and the penalty but request a waiver of penalty.

IRS always grants the waiver when you say you are taking action to resolve the issue.

Thanks Fanfare, I was able to download Form 5329 from within TT Premiers, fill it out, and will include it in my return. I particularly appreciate your recommendation as regards making a request for waiver of the penalty, which I did.
