Canada retirement benefit

I have some small amount of Canada retirement benefit. Canada has withheld taxes before sending the check. Do I still need to report to 1040?

Yes, you do need to add that income on your US tax return, assuming you are required to file one.

You will see an option to enter a substitute form 1099-R when you enter the pension income in TurboTax:
