Filing a 2018 joint return. My wife passed on 01/02/2019.Turbotax states my wife and I can still contribute to a traditional IRA for 2018. Can an IRA contribution be made in my wife's name if she passed away?

No, if the IRA contribution was not made prior to her death, you cannot make one now.
If it was made prior to her death, then it would be deductible if you otherwise qualified.
