Are we required to file a state tax return if the only income I receive is from my military retirement and our state of residence does not tax that retirement?

Are we required to file a state tax return if the only income I receive is from my military retirement and our state of residence does not tax that retirement?

If your state does not require you to file a state return due to the retirement income you receive, then you do not need to file.
