1099-R

1099-R error says Type of account should not be used for this type of distribution. It prepopulated "other" for me but none of them seem to clear the error. It just loops back around to the same thing. My box 7 has "7D" codes in it. Is this a software glitch?

If you have code 7D in box 7 then the issue has been fixed in TurboTax Desktop. Please make sure you update the software if you use TurboTax Desktop. You might have to delete and reenter your Form 1009-R.

For TurboTax Online you can use dmertz's workaround:

For code 7D, omit the code 7 and enter only the code D.
