1099-R and RMD Question

I have been receiving money from my mom’s retirement fund since she passed in 2001. This year, because she would have been 73, Turbo Tax is asking if the payments are RMD’s. Nothing has changed in the distributions and the 1099-R doesn’t indicate that anything has changed but I don’t know how to determine if the funds I receive are RMD’s or not. I am assuming not since it’s a death benefit I have been receiving but I dont want to give the wrong answer and flag our account.

1099-R and RMD Question

TurboTax is asking (unnecessarily) only to determine the amount that is ineligible for rollover.  A distribution to a non-spouse beneficiary is entirely ineligible for rollover, so in this context the entire amount is RMD.
