Turbo Tax Stimulus Reg./IRS Get my payment

I registered for the stimulus payment with Turbo Tax on April 9th. It was accepted by the IRS on April 10th. I have been checking my payment status via Get My Payment daily & I am still getting payment status not available. They can't determine my eligibility with the information they have on file. I've read a handful of articles stating that, for those who registered through Turbo Tax, the IRS is having trouble processing their info. And their stimulus payment is being delayed because of it. An "expert" replied to a question I posted about this & they said not to register on the fillable forms portal with the IRS because I registered through Turbo Tax. If the trouble the IRS is having is real why shouldn't I register via IRS fillable forms portal? Should I give it a few more days?
