I’ve been following the threads on this topic since Monday, hearing some are getting their deposits in their turbo card acct. and others are not. I unfortunately chose to have my tax refund deposited on the turbo card when I filed my 2019 taxes this year. Eventually I did get it, but it wasn’t without a major headache and a lot of wasted time...
The tool from the IRS is now available for you to check the status of your payment. I just checked mine, and I received a message like this, “You are eligible to receive a payment, however the IRS does NOT have your bank account information”. So I find it very hard to believe that people are saying they got their money when the money givers (IRS) clearly do not have the account info so they can send it... So I filled it out (definitely did not enter my turbo account information) and my info was accepted. My check will now be deposited into my Wells Fargo account and I can finally be done with this. I have literally never, EVER experienced such issues as I have with turbo Card. Never again. For The last three days the app had been down, the phone won’t even connect, like the actual phone number, when I call it, it won’t even ring, it says “call failed” over and over again; and for a while this morning, I couldn’t even log in on a desktop. The same thing happened when I was waiting for my tax refund.. I think this company has good intentions, I’ve used TurboTax for 11 years, but They 100% underestimated the amount of people that would use their services. Do yourself a favor, check the IRS website and enter your bank acct info. You will need ur 2019 tax return info- AGI & refund amount, and u will need ur bank routing/account numbers.. Best of luck to you all!
