Stimulus confusion

Okay. I filled out the thing on turbotax to be able to receive the stimulus payment. But when i go to irs.gov and try to check the status of my payment it says that there's no information on me. Have I done something wrong? I filled out what i guess would be concerned a "simple return" on 4/5/20 and there's still no update on it. Help!!
