selling real estate as a co-owner.

Became a co-owner of real estate with mom, brother, and sister in 1983.  Mom passed in 2004.  We sold the property in 2019, each receiving 1/3 of the sale.  Received 1099S for 1/3 of the sale.  How should this be handled?
