since you filed, there is nothing more you need to do. sit tight,
I haven't filed since 2016 I haven't worked. I'm still getting the payment status not available message and like I said I wasnt required to file. How sure are you I shouldn't use the non filers tool and should just wait? I got an email form turbotax on Wednesday saying congrats yada yada your stimulus payment should be today and such but never got it. I'm all upset about this whole thing and dont know what to do.

if you are on social security - nothing to do - the direct deposits are supposed to occur by the end of the month
otherwise, the non-filer submission is the way to go:

how would TT send you a GREAT! letter if you haven't filed since 2016???
Because I worked for a few months this year and filed for 2019 to get what I paid extra in, back. I filed march 27th and got my return april 15th. So I wasnt required to file, but did to get my extra that was taken out of my w2 back. Approx 300 dollar return. And I got my return on a turbocard. So yeah, its confusing for me here and I'm scared to **bleep** it up by using the non filers tool when I did file, even though I wasnt required to.
@Dice1994 - but you did file, no do not use the non-filer tool
update your direct deposit informtion here...
AGI is line 7 on your 2018 return and line 8B on your 2019 return. Refund is line 21a of the 2019 tax return. and line 20a for 2018
There is no way to update that information .. you can't do that of the you just get the previously stated error message. It simply logs you out. So the only place I could do that would be the non filers tool. But I filed this year although not required to. And I didn't file last year. So it's just dumb and impossible. I'm wondering what would happen if I just used the non filers tool as most questions are about 2018 not 2019. One more time I say, there is nowhere to update direct deposit info. Not if you get the error message. And the turbo card on my return gave the routing number and bank number of the turbo card account. So the irs should have had that already. But yeah, idk man. I'm deadlocked with an error message and just aimlessly waiting not even knowing if they have what they need or using non filers and manually entering it, hoping it doesn't create an error.
@Dice1994 - since you filed, you are in queue for the stimulus...the only question is whether that is by direct deposit or payer check. probably best to do nothing at this point and check the IRS website each week and see if you are able to change to direct deposit.
the paper checks are being mailed in 'income order'
week of april 24 - incomes under $10k (there are plenty of posts that people went the IRS website and saw their paper checks are to be sent on the 24th, so the IRS appears to be meeting the commitment)
week of May 1 - incomes under $20k
week of May 8 - incomes under $30k
etc
Hey I’m having the same problem. Did you end up getting your stimulus? And did you use the non-filers option?
